Our Star Athlete
Remembering Shane through an article we found:

"WARWICK - Shane Tanzosh has been selected as this week's Warwick Valley High School student-athlete of the week in the program sponsored by Allstate Insurance Bill Garcia Agency of Warwick. The senior basketball star has been consistent scorer and defender on the Varsity Boys Basketball team that is currently 15-4. Tanzosh scored a team high 23 points against Minisink and then broke 20 points again against Washingtonville in the final home game for the seniors. According to his coaches, Tanzosh plays hard every night and his leadership has been important in the Wildcats' recent success. Warwick will take on Burke Catholic in their final game this week in Goshen. Tanzosh has lived in Warwick his entire life and has played basketball at all levels for the school. He's received interest from Division Il and Division Ill colleges and has narrowed his decision to Hartwick, Slipper Rock and Farleigh Dickinson University where he is being recruited to play mens basketball. The 6'1" 170 1b. senior has continued to develop his game through AAU basketball (Orange County Elite) where his team went to Florida and participated in the AAU National Tournament. Tanzosh maintains an 85 average and scored well on the S.A.T. exam. He plans to study engineering or physical therapy in college. He is the son of Tony and Felicia Tanzosh of Warwick. Shane’s 31st Birthday
Dear Shane, If we could visit Heaven even for a day… Maybe for a moment, the pain would go away. I’d put my arms around you and whisper words so true… That living life without you is the hardest thing to do. No matter how we spend our days, no matter what we do… No morning dawns or evening falls when we don’t think of you. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Son! Love, Mom & Dad I know we will meet again…

Memories We Hold Dear

Again, we thank you all for your support and love. We will never fully recover from the loss of Shane but we hope this foundation may aid us in carrying on his spirit. We hope that this foundation will help carry on his legacy of always showing kindness and love to those around him.
